Maize is part of one of major human food crops like wheat, rice, and cereal grains. Maize is available in all over the country for animal’s feed. It has other varieties that are used in animal feed, like wheat, wheat straw, rice bran, forages, alfalfa, grasses, pulp of fruits & vegetable and forages, and tree leaves. Sometimes all these items are mixed with each other and made into a new feed for animals. It is provided by KPK, Sindh, Balochistan, and Punjab.
SMEDA (Small and Medium Enterprises) has produced firms to build an affordable feed supply for farmers. Many multinational companies also plan and use more than 3k acres of land for this purpose. However, it is approved by government- farmers can give their land on lease to produce all types of crops.
3- Industrial Applications (Textile, Paper & Pharmaceutical company)
Maize is perfect made crop that can be a major industrial raw material. IT is used to make starch in industries like food processing units, paper adhesives, textile, and pharmaceuticals. Corn starch is a stabilizer, thickener, and binder in soups. Sauces, pudding, yogurts, and instant food.

There are countries like Brazil and the USA that depend on maize-based ethanol for blending it with petrol as it helps to reduce carbon. It will improve rural income through agricultural items.
